New York, November 10: As the United States observes Veterans Day on November 11, stock investors can expect normal trading hours on Wall Street, with both the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and Nasdaq operating as usual.

The bond markets, however, will remain closed for the federal holiday, following the traditional schedule observed by the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA).

The decision ensures continuity in equity trading while allowing the financial sector to honor the nation’s veterans. Futures and options markets will also remain active, providing investors with opportunities to manage positions amid global volatility.

Meanwhile, the cryptocurrency markets — which operate 24/7 — will remain unaffected, with major exchanges continuing round-the-clock trading.

Market analysts note that while trading volumes may dip slightly due to the holiday, liquidity in equities and digital assets is expected to remain stable.

Veterans Day, observed annually on November 11, honors US military service members, and though it’s a federal holiday, most financial institutions and stock markets continue normal operations.
