Tricity got its first pure vegetarian retro modern restaurant “Kitchen Master Chef”, which was inaugurated today. Speaking on the occasion Mr A S Nagpal, prop. said that the concept of the restaurant is very unique and different. Its the first restaurant which has revived the traditional Punjabi “Pakwan” with fresh aromas to serve an altogether refreshing repast for the palate. The master chef has built a menu around the traditional Punjabi pakwan, bringing alive various flavours that have got lost over the years. Elaborating about the Kitchen Master Chef, Mr A S Nagpal, prop. said that the people in the tricity are savouring junk food like pizza or oily food like paranthas but we are giving them a healthy nutritious option of “Pakwans” with 30 stuffings alongwith two types of chutneys and home made pickle. The “Pakwans” are grilled and made in OLIVE oil only. We do not use any other cooking medium except OLIVE oil. The idea of “Pakwan” is conceptualized by myself since i am in the hotel and food industry for last ten years. The menu also has wide range of curds and curries alongwith beverages, mocktails, smoothies and desert. We will offer time bound home delivery in the tricity. We have take away facility also. The restaurant has capacity of 40 to 50 persons at one stretch. The chefs are thorough professionals who are working in the industry for last so many years. The ambience of the restaurant is done very aesthetically. Mr Nagpal said that this is the first branch, after this four more branches of kitchen master chef will be opened in L&T Mall industrial area Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula and New Delhi within four months. All these five centres will managed and operated by us only. After this we will go for franchise model in the other cities across India.
