Prabhas’ ‘The Raja Saab’ Sees Strong Opening, Falls Slightly Behind ‘Dhurandhar’
The horror-comedy film ‘The Raja Saab’, starring Prabhas, released today in theaters and saw massive excitement among Telugu audiences. The movie’s paid previews collected ₹9.15 crore, while the first-day earnings totaled ₹26.9 crore, slightly below Aditya Dhar’s ‘Dhurandhar’, which earned ₹28 crore on its first day.
So far, ‘The Raja Saab’ has grossed ₹36.05 crore at the Indian box office.

Aditya Dhar’s ‘Dhurandhar’ continues its strong run even after 36 days, collecting ₹2.39 crore on Friday, taking its total box office to ₹792.64 crore.
Storyline of ‘The Raja Saab’
The film follows Raju aka Raja Saab (Prabhas), who lives in a village with his grandmother Ganga Maa (Zarina Wahab). She often reminisces about her missing husband Kankaraju (Sanjay Dutt), who disappeared while searching for a thief. One day, Raju receives news that his grandfather is in Hyderabad, setting off a series of twists and comedic-horror events.
