The Indian box office witnessed a mixed start to the new week as Prabhas’ latest release The Raja Saab experienced a steep fall on its fourth day, while Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar continued its impressive run even after 39 days. Meanwhile, Agastya Nanda and Dharmendra’s Ikkis struggled further despite strong word-of-mouth.
‘The Raja Saab’ Sees Sharp Decline on Monday
Prabhas’ The Raja Saab, which opened to mixed critical reviews, has been performing well overall but failed to maintain weekend momentum. The film collected ₹6.29 crore on Monday, marking a significant drop after a strong opening frame.
The film’s box office performance so far:
Day 1: ₹53.75 crore
Paid Previews: ₹9.15 crore
Day 2: ₹26 crore
Day 3: ₹19.10 crore
Day 4: ₹6.29 crore
Despite the decline, the film remains a major theatrical draw due to Prabhas’ star power and its mass appeal.
‘Dhurandhar’ Continues Its Dream Run
Ranveer Singh’s blockbuster Dhurandhar shows no signs of slowing down, even after more than five weeks in theaters. On its 39th day, the film earned ₹2.25 crore on its sixth Monday.
The film had collected ₹6.15 crore on its sixth Sunday, pushing its total to an impressive ₹807.90 crore, according to Sacnilk. The film continues to attract steady footfalls thanks to strong audience reception and sustained hype.
‘Ikkis’ Fades Despite Positive Reviews
Agastya Nanda and Dharmendra’s patriotic drama Ikkis is struggling to convert critical praise into revenue. After earning ₹25.50 crore in its first week, the film is witnessing a slow second week.
On Monday (Day 12), Ikkis collected just ₹35 lakh, following its ₹1.30 crore Sunday earnings, bringing its total to ₹29.15 crore over 12 days. The film now faces an uphill battle to stay afloat as competition intensifies.
