CBI is one of the most prestigious and important institutions of the country and therefore to uphold its credibility is a collective responsibility of all of us, observed Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State for Personnel Public Grievances & Pensions, on his visit to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) headquarters today. During his interaction with the staff, the minister said that the government is committed to ensuring sanctity of each institution of the state. The new government has taken over with the promise of serving the nation and providing fair deal to all sections of society, he added.
Dr. Jitendra Singh said that within ten days of having taken over the charge, he has tried to interact with all the officials from top to bottom in each of the departments assigned to him. This is to acquaint himself with these departments to ensure optimal delivery of services, he added.
Dr. Singh assured the senior CBI officers of working in close coordination, in order to discharge the noble responsibility for which institutions like CBI were envisaged and established. The nation looks up to these institutions with great faith and hope, and therefore to live up to this expectation should be our constant endeavour, the minister added.
