Mumbai : The Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), the country’s largest company in the information technology sector, has earned a profit of Rs 12434 crore for the quarter ending March 31, 2024, which is 9.1 percent more as compared to Rs 11392 crore in the same period of the previous financial year. The company said in its released financial accounts that the total revenue in this fourth quarter was Rs 61237 crore, which is 3.5 percent more as compared to Rs 59162 crore in the same period of the financial year 2022-23.
The company said that the board of directors has proposed to pay a final dividend of Rs 28 per share. The company has earned a profit of Rs 45908 crore in the financial year ending March 2024, whereas in the previous financial year it was Rs 42147 crore. The total revenue of the company in the financial year 2023-24 has been Rs 240893 crore whereas in the previous financial year it was Rs 225458 crore. The company said that 62 new customers were added in the financial year ending March 2024 and the total number of employees during this period was 601546.
