Mumbai : To accommodate the influx of cricket enthusiasts eager to witness the India-Pakistan match in Ahmedabad, Western Railway has announced an additional pair of Superfast Special trains. Operating between Mumbai Central and Ahmedabad, these special trains are a convenient option for fans traveling to and from the big event.
Detailed Train Schedule
Mumbai Central to Ahmedabad
- Train No. 09015: This Superfast Special will leave Mumbai Central at 23:20 hrs on Friday, October 13, 2023, and is scheduled to arrive in Ahmedabad by 07:20 hrs the following day.
Ahmedabad to Mumbai Central
- Train No. 09016: The return trip will commence at 02:00 hrs on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from Ahmedabad and is expected to reach Mumbai Central at 10:30 hrs on the same day.

The Superfast Special trains will halt at multiple stations en route in both directions:
- Dadar
- Borivali
- Palghar
- Vapi
- Valsad
- Navsari
- Surat
- Vadodara Junction
In terms of onboard amenities, the trains will feature AC 3-tier, sleeper class, and second sitting class coaches.
Booking Information
Reservations for Train No. 09015 and 09016 will commence on October 13, 2023. Tickets can be purchased across all PRS counters and through the official IRCTC website. Please note that these are special trains running on special fares.
