Smt. Sonia Gandhi, President, All India Congress Committee has appreciated ‘Har Ghar Kuchha Kehta Hai’ a coffee table book on Shimla city which had recently been released by the Chief Minister Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal.
A Spokesman of Tourism and Civil Aviation Department said here today that Smt. Gandhi had sent a letter of thanks to the State Chief Minister on receiving the copy of the book. A copy of coffee table book ‘Har Ghar Kuchh Kehta Hai’ was recently sent to Smt. Sonia Gandhi by Chief Minister.
Spokesman further said that in her thanks letter Smt. Sonia Gandhi said that ‘the book on Shimla is very fine containing old photographs which brings back the memories of numerous visits over the years. He said that Smt. Gandhi told that Nehru family has had close ties with Himachal Pradesh and the family always enjoyed visits to the lovely forests and hills. The photographs in the book are evocative and do justice to a historic and beautiful city.
