BJP MP Anurag Thakur said that ‘The Constitution book that Rahul Gandhi carries around has written in it that there has been tension between the legislature and the judiciary since the constitution was formed. It was the Constitution that saved the country. He talks about cutting thumbs, but Sikhs were beheaded during his time. He carries the Constitution in his pocket, but never followed it.’
Union Minister Anurag Thakur hit back at Rahul Gandhi’s speech and said that ‘Rahul Gandhi could not even tell how many pages are there in the Indian Constitution.’ Thakur said, ‘The book (Constitution) that he shows, he does not even know how many pages are there in this book. Rahul ji, open this book and read it sometime.
