Mumbai | November 11, 2025 — Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his son Aryan Khan paid a visit to veteran actor Dharmendra at a Mumbai hospital late Monday night, following a wave of online speculation about the actor’s health.
According to sources, Dharmendra, 89, has been under observation for age-related issues and is now reported to be stable and responding positively to treatment.
The visit from Shah Rukh Khan comes amid a social media storm of unverified reports claiming the veteran actor’s demise — rumors that the Deol family has firmly denied.
“Please stop spreading baseless news. Dharamji is doing well and recovering. He met a few friends and well-wishers today,” a family member clarified in a brief statement to the media.
Earlier in the day, actor and parliamentarian Hema Malini took to X (formerly Twitter) urging media outlets to show restraint and respect Dharmendra’s privacy, calling the spread of false reports “deeply hurtful and irresponsible.”
“He is resting and improving. We thank everyone for their prayers,” she wrote, accompanied by a recent picture of the veteran star smiling from his hospital bed.
Dharmendra, often called the ‘He-Man of Bollywood,’ has been a beloved figure in Indian cinema for over six decades, known for classics like Sholay, Phool Aur Patthar, and Chupke Chupke.
Fans outside the hospital cheered as Shah Rukh Khan’s car was seen leaving the premises, reflecting the industry’s solidarity and affection for the veteran star.
