Excitement is building around Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film King, with reports suggesting that a teaser may be released next month through his production banner, Red Chillies Entertainment.
While the makers have not officially confirmed the teaser date, industry buzz indicates that promotional activities for the much-anticipated project are set to begin soon.
Father–Daughter Duo on the Big Screen
King is expected to mark the first full-length feature film collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and his daughter Suhana Khan.
Suhana made her acting debut with the Netflix film The Archies, but King is being viewed as her major theatrical Bollywood outing. The on-screen pairing of the real-life father and daughter has significantly heightened anticipation among fans.
Shah Rukh Khan’s Reported Role
According to circulating reports, Shah Rukh Khan may portray a character with grey shades — described as having a “Don-like” persona — who trains Suhana’s character in the storyline. However, official character details have not yet been released.
The film is reportedly being directed by Siddharth Anand, known for Pathaan, alongside filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh. Production details remain tightly guarded.
Music by Anirudh Ravichander
The film’s music is being composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who previously collaborated with Shah Rukh Khan on Jawan. The soundtrack of that film achieved widespread commercial success, and the reunion has further fueled expectations.
Expected Release Window
While no official release date has been announced, King is reportedly targeting a release in the second half of 2026. Industry observers suggest that the official date could be revealed alongside the teaser launch.
As anticipation continues to grow, fans are awaiting confirmation from Red Chillies Entertainment regarding the teaser and promotional rollout.
