Actor Ram Charan has sparked buzz online after calling his RRR co-star and close friend Jr. NTR both a “crazy driver” and the person he trusts the most behind the wheel at extremely high speeds. The comment came during his recent appearance on the finale of the automobile show Cars With Stars Season 2.
Ram Charan, who is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Peddhi, was asked a fun question on the show: Which actor from the film industry would he trust enough to sit beside while they drive at 250 km/h? Without hesitation, Charan named Jr. NTR.
Ram Charan Explains Why Jr. NTR Is a “Crazy Driver”
Speaking about Jr. NTR’s driving style, Charan said:
“I think NTR is a crazy driver. I’ve heard some wild stories from friends who sat in the passenger seat with him. Even I had a strange experience once.”
Despite describing him as “eccentric” behind the wheel, Charan also emphasized that Jr. NTR is surprisingly the safest driver he knows.
He added that not many co-actors enjoy driving themselves, but Jr. NTR is one of the rare ones who absolutely does. Charan praised his control, reflexes, and confidence on the road. However, he refused to disclose the name of the actor he would never sit with in a car.
RRR Co-Stars Share Strong Bond
Ram Charan and Jr. NTR starred together in SS Rajamouli’s 2022 blockbuster RRR, playing iconic roles as onscreen friends. Their chemistry was one of the film’s biggest highlights, winning praise globally as the movie became a massive box office success.
Ram Charan’s Next Film ‘Peddhi’
On the work front, Ram Charan will next be seen in Peddhi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The film features Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role alongside Charan. Actors Trisha Krishnan and Divyenndu Sharma will also appear in pivotal roles.
