‘Patriot’ Registers Impressive Opening
The political spy thriller Patriot, starring Mammootty and Mohanlal, opened strongly on May 1. The film earned ₹9.80 crore net in India on its first day, while its worldwide collection stood at ₹29.37 crore, signaling strong audience interest.
‘Dhurandhar 2’ Continues Record-Breaking Run
Even after 44 days in theaters, Dhurandhar 2 remains unstoppable. The film collected ₹1.05 crore on Day 44, taking its India total to ₹1,136.14 crore.

South Indian films continue to make a strong impact at the box office. Kara collected ₹6.95 crore on Friday, while KD: The Devil earned ₹3.50 crore. Both films released on Thursday and are holding steady.
