Pan-India star Prabhas faces a demanding 2026 with multiple high-profile projects in various stages of production. Reports detail his commitments across sequels and new ventures directed by top filmmakers.
Principal photography for Kalki 2898 AD: Part 2, directed by Nag Ashwin, commenced on February 2, 2026. Initial scenes focus on Kamal Haasan’s portions, with Prabhas expected to join in the second week of February. The sci-fi sequel targets a 2027 or 2028 theatrical release.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga‘s Spirit runs parallel schedules. Prabhas joins a new phase from February 15, 2026. The action drama aims to wrap in 95 shooting days, with a confirmed release on March 7, 2027.
