Haryana Government has modified the Power Tariff Subsidy scheme to provide affordable power supply to the enterprises located in the state.

Giving this information here today, a spokesperson of the Industries and Commerce Department said that a notification has been issued in this regard.

He said that an enterprise located in 'C' and 'D' category blocks having industrial connection of connected load of 20 KW or less would be provided Power Tariff Subsidy of Rs 2 per unit. He said that this scheme will be applicable from November 1, 2018 and will remain in operation till it is superseded by the government.

The spokesman said that the enterprise will be eligible for this benefit till it remains in production. The enterprise will not be required to apply for availing the benefit. The power companies or utilities such as UHBVN/DHBVN would provide this benefit by deducting the subsidy amount in the electricity bills.
