Home Minister Amit Shah congratulated him on his birthday. Amit Shah wrote in his message that in line with the commitment of Prime Minister Modi ji, the Home Ministry is starting an initiative to provide goods to the people of Manipur at reasonable prices. Now the Central Police Welfare Stores will open for the general public from September 17, 2024. Apart from the 21 existing warehouses, 16 new warehouses will be opened. Out of the 16 new centres, eight will be in the valley and the remaining eight in the hilly areas.
