Beijing – : Pakistan, which is facing economic crisis, has expressed its desire to join the BRICS group. The government of Pakistan is trying to get the country out of misery.
Meanwhile, reports have claimed that Pakistan may put forth its demand to join the organization at the BRICS summit to be held in South Africa in August. Apart from India and China, Russia, Brazil and South Africa are members of this organization. Along with Pakistan, 19 countries including Saudi Arabia, Iran have offered to become members of BRICS.
BRICS countries have also talked about adding more members to strengthen the organization. However, it is almost impossible for Pakistan to find a place in it.
