NTPC has a major role in achieving the target of Power for All in the country said Shri Sushilkumar Shinde, Union Minister of Power addressing NTPC family on the occasion of Raising Day of the Organization. He appreciated the Cultural Programme presented by about 132 children of NTPC family from Projects across the country. He added that such events inculcate family feeling in the Organization and help in bonding. Earlier the program was inaugurated by Shri Bharatsinh Solanki MOSP who congratulated NTPC family for its achievements over the years to acquire the position of largest Power Utility in the Country.
Shri P. Uma Shankar, Secretary [Power] also addressed the gathering. All the Directors of NTPC were present on the occasion led by Shri Arup Roy Choudhury, CMD,NTPC.
The Cultural Programme began with a tribute to Novel Laureate, Shri Rabindra Nath Tagore. Children danced on the songs written by him depicting the resplendent six seasons of our diverse Nation.
