Johannesburg, November 23, 2025 :
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi used the global stage at the G20 Summit in Johannesburg to advocate a bold rethinking of international development models, emphasizing the philosophy of “Integral Humanism” as a foundation for future reforms.
Addressing world leaders, Modi highlighted the need for growth strategies that integrate economic progress with traditional knowledge systems, sustainable healthcare, and community-centered development. He argued that global policies must evolve to reflect human welfare, environmental balance, and equitable opportunities.
Modi’s proposals included new skill development initiatives, expanded cooperation on traditional medicine, and collaborative frameworks aimed at strengthening health security across developing nations. The agenda aligns closely with long-standing BJP ideological principles, positioning India as a promoter of culturally rooted but globally adaptable reform mechanisms.
Several member nations welcomed the emphasis on inclusive growth, though experts note that the challenge lies in translating philosophical models into actionable policy across diverse economies.
The summit continues with negotiations on climate finance, digital infrastructure, and global supply chain resilience.
