The month of Sawan is also starting with the Kanwar Yatra. The traffic plan will also be implemented from Thursday night. Heavy vehicles on the highway will be closed during the day. The Kanwar Yatra will end on July 26.
DIG Dr. Yogendra Singh Rawat said that from July 14 to 19, heavy vehicles will be closed only between 12 pm and 5 am. Heavy vehicles will be completely closed on Haridwar, Delhi, Haridwar Dehradun highway from 20 to the end of the fair. At the same time, in many areas, it has been decided to close all illegal shops selling liquor and meat along the Yatra route from July 14 to 26, before the start of the Kanwar Yatra in the month of Sawan.
