On Friday morning at 10:30 AM, the Madras High Court ruled in favor of the film’s producers, directing the CBFC to immediately issue a ‘U/A’ certificate. The court struck down the Revising Committee referral, calling the decision improper.

While KVN Productions has not officially announced a new release date yet, trade analysts and industry insiders believe ‘Jana Nayagan’ could arrive in theaters around January 23, 2026.
