New York/Tel Aviv : The increasing tension in the countries of the Middle East seems to be creating conditions for a third world war. In fact, American Intelligence has revealed in its report that Iran may soon attack Israel. According to American Intelligence, the attack plan has been shared with Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei. They are examining its possible impact. However, the decision has not been finalized yet. At the same time, Israel is preparing to deal with Iran’s attack in both its north and west.
Amidst the threat of attack on Israel from Iran, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke on phone with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, China, Turkey and many European countries. Blinken has asked all countries to persuade Iran not to attack. Amidst the tension in the Middle East, the Indian government has issued an advisory asking Indians to avoid traveling to Israel and Iran.
US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said that promoting the dispute is not in anyone’s interest. Earlier, America issued an advisory for its citizens and especially diplomats working in Israel. America has asked its embassy staff not to go out of Jerusalem, Tel Aviv or Beersheba city without caution. This is the first time in the six months of Israel-Hamas war that America has issued such an advisory for its citizens. At the same time, in view of the dangers of attack, General Michael Kurila of America’s Central Command reached Israel. He will guide Israel in times of danger. He met Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant and Israel Defense Force officials.
In fact, on April 1, Israel conducted an airstrike near the Iranian Embassy in Syria. In this, 13 people including two Iranian army commanders were killed. After this Iran threatened Israel with revenge. After this attack, White House Press Secretary Karen Jean-Pierre had said – America had contacted Iran after the attack on the Iranian Embassy in Syria. We told them that America had no role in this attack. Iran should not try to target American targets or civilians with its help. America’s Intelligence Agency had also expressed apprehension that Iran might retaliate against Israel after the April 1 attack. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei had said that Israel would be punished for this attack. They attacked our embassy in Syria. It was like attacking Iranian soil. On the other hand, British Foreign Minister Lord Cameron also called the Iranian Foreign Minister and advised him not to escalate the dispute. Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had said without naming Iran that Israel is preparing for war on other fronts besides Gaza. Without naming Iran, Netanyahu had said that if anyone attacks us, we will definitely respond.
A few days ago, Israel had shut down its GPS navigation system. GPS is believed to be turned off to prevent guided missile attacks. Apart from this, leaves of all the soldiers were also cancelled. Amidst the fear of attack from Iran, the Israeli Army had said – Our soldiers are already at war. In view of the situation, the leave of temporary combat units has been cancelled. Air Defense Command has been put on alert. Anti bomb shelters have been started in many cities.
The enmity between Iran and Israel is well known, although both countries have never been able to muster the courage to directly confront each other. Iran always took support of organizations like Hamas and Hezbollah. At the same time, Israel directly attacks Iranian targets. Now if Iran directly targets Israel, then the biggest danger is that this war will spread throughout the Middle East and its consequences will be dangerous.
The Ministry of External Affairs has issued a travel advisory for Iran and Israel and advised all Indians not to travel to Iran or Israel until further notice. The ministry has requested Indians present in Iran and Israel to get in touch with the Indian Embassy and get themselves registered. The Ministry of External Affairs issued a notification on Friday asking Indians to avoid traveling to Iran and Israel until further notice. This advisory has been issued amid reports that Iran may attack Israel within the next 48 hours.
