Indian billionaire’s son and a wealthy interior designer facing off in London’s High Court for ‘£100m divorce fight

Simrin Choudhrie is a wealthy interior designer by profession and philanthropist by passion. She has always walked an extra mile for those in need, and also she is now best known as an interior designer after boosting her profile in a 2010 appearance on reality show The Secret Millionaire, which saw her go undercover. Bhanu Choudhrie is the son of an Indian billionaire. He is also the founder and executive director of C&C Alpha Group, which has global investments. Mr Choudhrie, 40, and his father Sudhir, 69 – who has donated more than £1.5 million to the Lib Dems since 2004. Mr. Entrepreneur and his estranged wife both are fighting in the Family Division of the High Court in London.

 

Simrin Choudhrie alienated millionaire husband Bhanu choudhrie have hired top defenders Baroness Fiona Shackleton and Ayesha Vardag in '£100m divorce fight'.

 

The couple and their permitted teams will attended a preliminary hearing at the Royal Courts of Justice Family Division. Mr Justice Cohen said no detail of the private hearing could be reported.

 

Mrs Choudhrie filed for divorce in May 2017, but the couple continued to live together until November last year and are now going through divorce proceedings. The Chaudhry's reportedly lived together in a £20 million Grade II listed home in London's Belgravia before their relationship soured. Their divorce case was adjourned following preliminary hearing.
