Rajasthan: A cold wave warning remains in effect from January 4 to January 7.
Madhya Pradesh and Odisha: IMD has warned of dense fog between January 6 and January 8.
Himalayan and Hill States
Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh: Due to an active western disturbance, light rainfall or snowfall is likely in higher-altitude regions, which may further intensify cold conditions in adjoining plains.

Flights and Trains: Dense fog may cause delays and disruptions in air and rail services, particularly in and around Delhi-NCR.
Air Quality (AQI): Weather conditions may keep air quality in cities like Delhi and Lucknow in the “Very Poor” category.
IMD has advised residents to take necessary precautions and stay updated through official weather bulletins for region-specific alerts.
