Vrindavan, India — February 20, 2026
The first official poster of Hanuman Ansh, a devotional feature film inspired by the life and teachings of Neem Karoli Baba, was unveiled Friday during a spiritual ceremony in Vrindavan, filmmakers confirmed. The film is scheduled for theatrical release in June 2026.
The poster launch took place at the saint’s sacred samadhi site in Vrindavan, accompanied by recitations of the Hanuman Chalisa and a community feast, marking the official start of the project’s promotional campaign.
Film Concept and Inspiration
Hanuman Ansh is the first chapter of a planned spiritual trilogy based on the life philosophy associated with the revered saint. The movie draws inspiration from the book Divine Detour written by Dr. Vishal Chaturvedi, who is also directing and writing the film adaptation.
According to the production team, the story follows a grieving boy who sets out on a spiritual quest to reconnect with his late mother. Along the way, he discovers lessons of love, service, compassion, and faith, ultimately evolving into a figure revered as “Hanuman Ansh.”
Production Details
The film is being produced by Swambhu Media Network with producers Ragini S., Namrata Singh, and Anupriya A. Nagar leading the project.
The cast includes actors Vihaan Shedge and Shobhina in key roles. Producers say teaser and trailer releases are expected soon as post-production progresses.
Languages and Global Reach
The film is being produced in multiple languages to expand its reach beyond Hindi-speaking audiences. In addition to Hindi, versions are planned in English, Braj, Bhojpuri, and Awadhi.
Filmmakers say the goal is to present the saint’s teachings — centered on service, love, and remembrance of God — to a worldwide audience.
Significance of the Film
Spiritual biographical films have gained popularity in recent years, particularly among audiences seeking faith-based storytelling. Industry observers note that multi-language releases and devotional themes have helped such projects find audiences both in India and abroad.
