Gurukul Vidyapeeth and Fibonacci Center of Excellence collaborate to develop new programs in the field of education and research
Dr. Manmohan Kumar Garg, Chairman, Gurukul Vidyapeeth announced that Fibonacci Center of Excellence will work with Gurukul Vidyapeeth to develop campus-to-corporate programs as well as overseas educa for Gurukul Campuses. They will also be training and guiding the students for pursuing their education & research from top international institutions in their respective field. Fibonacci Center of Excellence will collaborate with Gurukul Vidyapeeth to foster research and practical training for the students.
Dr. S C Jain, Vice President Gurukul Vidyapeeth further added that under Campus to Corporate program B.Tech. & Diploma students will be trained for getting them ready for career in India. This program will also prepare them for pursuing further education from top international universities and colleges by imparting training on GRE, TOEFL and SAT along with guidance on admissions & scholarships. It will also help with R & D in diverse fields such as water resources, civil engineering, IT to name a few; which involves almost all types of engineering fields.
Mr. Ramanjeet Singh, Additional Director Gurukul Vidyapeeth said that Prof. Navin Twarakavi and Dr. Ajay Kalra of Fibonacci Center of Excellence are both experts in Water Resources Engineering and Climate Change with 11 years of experience in academia. They have both advised more than 200 graduates and many Post graduate students of engineering, sciences and mathematics in US.
Prof. Navin Twarakavi (Chief Mentor, Fibonacci Center of Excellence) said that graduate education has become a need for future workforce and overseas education in the field of their choice offers the most value. Having trained and mentored undergraduate, graduate, doctoral and post-doctoral students in U.S. Universities for over 11 years, Prof. Twarakavi expressed that the team at Fibonacci understand the strategies and approaches that need to be adopted for studying abroad. Dr. Twarakavi said that for the first time in India, world-renowned U.S Professors have come together to nurture the career of aspiring students and he encouraged everyone to take advantage of this unique opportunity.
