Filmfare announces the 5th edition of Joy Filmfare Awards Bangla 2021

The star-studded night presented by Joy Personal Care is set to be held on 17th March 2022 at Westin, Kolkata

Celebrating the finest performers and films from the Bangla Film Industry, Filmfare is back with the fifth edition of the Filmfare Awards Bangla in association with Joy Personal Care. Shining the spotlight on some of the exceptional cinematic performances released between 2020-2021 with the iconic Black Lady, the star-studded property is slated to be held on 17th March 2022 at Westin, Kolkata. Rejoicing in the giant strides made by Bengali cinema, the much-awaited gala is once again all set to rejoice its cinematic excellence that continues to make waves around the world.

All eyes will be on some of the biggest names of Bengali cinema as they walk the red carpet. The glamourous night will be hosted by none other than Abir Chatterjee, Anirban Bhattacharya and Sohini Sarkar. The property, one of the most-watched award celebrations in the region, will witness superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee pay a tribute to the late Bappi Lahiri. This will be followed by power-packed individual performances by the very charismatic Dev and talented actors like Ushasi Ray, Trina Saha and Swastika Dutta. Furthermore, all eyes will be on the soothing voices of Akriti Kakar, Rupankar Bagchi and Iman Chakraborty as they strike the perfect note in their musical performances.
