Damage to Crops by Blue Bulls is a burning issue not only for the state but for the several states of the country. A successful experiment has been carried out first time in the country by the specialist doctors in Van Vihar – Bhopal conducting a pin-hole gelding process on male blue bulls to control their population. This activity was carried out within 30 minutes by making blue bull unconscious. The blue bull is healthy and conscious. Specialists will monitor this blue bull for a month. This experiment will be conducted again in the month of October to ascertain the parameters of this process. Later on, this process will be transmitted with necessary training and implementation in areas prone to blue bulls’ threats.
It may be mentioned that this pinhole gelding process carried out on an experimental basis on blue bulls without causing any injury in Van Vihar National Park will fetch a positive result in future.
