Kulbir Kalsi,The alumni association of Sacred Heart Convent School popularly known as SHES, organized a Fete today at Chandigarh Club to increase its visibility, to create a connect between the old students and to promote women entrepreneurs most of who were the ex-students of the school. The Fete that witnessed enthusiastic participation by a significant number of women was like a busy mini-market where small local business houses, restaurants, service providers, art houses, spas and salons gave away their promotional material and also offered gift hampers, meals for two, facials and massages that made great games and tambola prizes. There were volunteers at each stall. Face Painting, portrait making and the games contributed to the vibrancy and livability of the event and created an air of excitement, which had a quintessential ‘buzz’. All in attendance;families, children, current school students, teachers, artists and volunteers enjoyed the positive atmosphere. Arti Mehta, President of the Association, said, “It was a joy to be able to celebrate the reconnect in the form of promotion of women entrepreneurs,visual art, play and games.”
