Washington – : Modi government in India is continuously working to attract technology companies for investment. This has made it easier for global companies to do business in India now than it was a decade ago, said Robert Chatwani, the new president of US-based DocuSign firm. Another entrepreneur Matin Syed said that people from all over the world are attracted to India. Chatwani, president of DocuSign, a leader in managing electronic agreements in the US, said several laws have come under Modi’s administration to attract FDI to the country.
There is nothing stopping India, said Matin Syed, another Indian-origin entrepreneur and startup advisor. The Modi government has put a lot of emphasis on attracting FDI from technology companies. Chatwani said, under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the trend of adopting technology in all sectors has increased in the last several years. He added that his company is committed to setting up a full-fledged engineering center and development center in Bengaluru.
