The romantic drama Do Deewane Seher Mein, starring Mrunal Thakur and Siddhant Chaturvedi, recorded a modest performance on its second day at the box office, indicating limited weekend momentum.

According to early estimates available at the time of reporting, the film earned ₹1.08 crore on Saturday, bringing its total domestic collection to ₹2.33 crore. The film had opened with ₹1.25 crore on Friday.

Weekend Boost Falls Short

Despite Saturday typically being a stronger day for theatrical earnings, the film’s second-day numbers suggest it did not benefit significantly from weekend footfall. Trade observers note that slow growth between Day 1 and Day 2 can indicate cautious audience response or strong competition.

Box Office Clash With ‘Assi’

The film is currently competing with Assi, starring Taapsee Pannu. That film reportedly collected ₹1.13 crore on its second day, slightly ahead of Do Deewane Seher Mein in daily earnings.

However, in cumulative totals so far, Do Deewane Seher Mein remains ahead with ₹2.33 crore compared to Assi’s ₹2.13 crore.

Storyline Focuses on Realistic Romance

The film follows Roshan and Shashank, two thoughtful young adults living in Mumbai who struggle with insecurities rooted in their personal flaws. As they gradually understand each other, they form a bond grounded not in grand dreams but in the everyday fears and vulnerabilities modern youth experience.

Critics note that the narrative emphasizes emotional realism over traditional Bollywood romance tropes.

Cast and Crew

Directed by Ravi Udyawar and written by Abhiruchi Chand, the film is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Prerna Singh.

The supporting cast includes Ila Arun, Joy Sengupta, Sandeepa Dhar, and Deepraj Rana.
