The much-anticipated teaser of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh, was released on Tuesday, but instead of sparking excitement, it left a section of fans disappointed.
Following the massive success of Dhurandhar last year, expectations were sky-high for its sequel. However, soon after the 1 minute 12 second teaser went live, social media platforms were flooded with mixed reactions, with many viewers expressing dissatisfaction over the lack of new content.
💬 “Nothing New in the Teaser,” Say Fans
Several users commented that the teaser failed to reveal anything fresh. One viewer wrote, “I was expecting something new… just release the trailer quickly now.” Another compared the teaser to the post-credit scene of the first film, calling it repetitive and uninspired.
A number of fans echoed similar sentiments, stating that the teaser did little to justify the massive buildup around the sequel.

Some fans went a step further, accusing the makers of misleading audiences by branding the clip as a teaser. One comment read, “This isn’t a teaser, it’s just recycled footage.”

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 19. The film will face stiff competition at the box office from Toxic, starring Yash, which is set to release on the same day.
The sequel is expected to focus on Hamza’s quest for revenge, unravel the true identity of “Bade Sahab,” and delve deeper into the backstory of Jaskirat Singh Rangi, Hamza’s real identity.
Whether Dhurandhar: The Revenge can recreate the magic of the first film now remains to be seen.
