Ranveer Singh–starrer Dhurandhar has scripted cinematic history with a record-breaking box office performance, emerging as one of the biggest blockbusters Indian cinema has ever seen. Released on December 5, 2025, the film continues its unstoppable run well into January 2026, shattering multiple domestic and global records.

As of January 4, 2026, Dhurandhar has amassed an estimated ₹1,182.25 crore in worldwide gross collections, placing it among the top five highest-grossing Indian films globally. The film’s India net collection stands at ₹759.50 crore, while its India gross has reached ₹911.25 crore. Overseas markets have contributed an impressive ₹271 crore, underscoring the film’s massive international appeal.

In a landmark achievement, Dhurandhar has officially become the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time, surpassing Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan in lifetime earnings. The film has also set a unique consistency record, becoming the first Indian film to earn ₹10 crore or more at the domestic box office for 29 consecutive days.

The New Year holiday further boosted the film’s momentum. On its 28th day (January 1, 2026), Dhurandhar collected ₹15.75 crore, an exceptionally rare feat for a fourth-week theatrical run.

With its global total now closing in on the ₹1,200 crore milestone, industry analysts believe the film could soon challenge RRR’s worldwide record of ₹1,230 crore. Riding on the film’s extraordinary success, the makers have officially announced a sequel, ‘Dhurandhar 2’, which is expected to hit theaters on March 19, 2026.
