Desh Bhagat University has been honored with “Education leadership award” by the ABP NEWS National B School Awards. On behalf of Desh Bhagat University, the award was received by Dr Zora Singh, Chancellor of University in a glittering ceremony which was attended by heads of various Business schools and Education Institutes across the country, at Taj Lands End Hotel, Bandra, Mumbai. Dr ASIM Ahmed, Minister of education -republic of Maldives was the chief guest & Mr Avinash Pandey COO-MCCS was the guest of the honor on this occasion & Vice Chancellors, Directors, and faculty members of various Universities, Engineering institute and Business Schools attended the ceremony. The ABP News National B-School Awards recognizes institutions that are innovative modern and industry related in their curriculum in marketing, advertising, marketing communications and engineering and technology. The awards were well researched and chosen by an independent jury and a panel of professionals who believe in nurturing talent and in recognizing the best of the best. While expressing his happiness on Desh Bhagat University being conferred B-School Leadership Award Dr Zora Singh, Chancellor Desh Bhagat University, Chairman, Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes & Chairman, Desh Bhagat Radio 107.8 FM Aap Ki Awaaz thanked the jury for honoring Desh Bhagat University & said that it is a proud moment for all of us, that our efforts are being recognized by the Industry Leaders. He further added that these awards will provide us an inspiration to strive harder to make University as the centre of excellence. Dr Singh congratulated students and faculty members of the University & said these awards were the result of continuous efforts and performance of our students & the faculty. The panel announced about Desh Bhagat University, “Your leadership and contribution to the field of Education is well known. The position that you occupy in the Education is strategic and iconic. As a thinker and doer you are a role model and a believer in change for betterment. The Chief Guest Dr Asim Ahmed said, “The basic objective of these awards is encourage the B Schools and T schools to achieve excellence, to build the future leaders of the country in Higher Education and to bring Institutes at one platform to compete amongst themselves in a positive way.”
