Deepika Padukone is officially returning to the big screen. After the massive success of Singham Again and completing her maternity break, the actress confirmed today that she will begin shooting for Pathaan 2 in March 2026. The first schedule is expected to take place in Mumbai, where she will reunite with Shah Rukh Khan.
In an interview, Deepika said she is “fully ready to return to work” and excited to reprise her character Rubai in the sequel. According to Yash Raj Films insiders, Deepika’s action sequences in Pathaan 2 will be “far more intense and dangerous” than before.
Spy Universe Expands Further
Pathaan 2 is expected to play a key role in expanding YRF’s Spy Universe. Sources suggest the film will directly build the foundation for the much-anticipated Tiger vs Pathaan. This installment may also explore Rubai’s backstory and ISI connections in greater depth.
