Tiny-Tots of CRB Public School, Sec-7-B, Chandigarh celebrated Teej festival today. All the students of senior as well as junior wing participated in the celebration. The children were looking awesome in their traditional dresses like Salwar suits and Kurta Pyjamas. The girls were thrilled to carry mehandi and bangles to school. The swings in the school campus were decorated beautifully with flowers and coloured buntings. The girls of the school also danced on the Punjabi Bolian and sang sawan songs on the swings. Many girls participated in the mehandi art activity held in the school. Mrs. Sangeeta Mittal,the principal of the school told that the school children are generally made aware about the Indian traditions, cultures and festivals. Today’s celebration was also a link of this chain. The school children above all had a nice fervor of rainy season and the Teej festival.
