Devender, a constable, has been booked after a staff nurse accused him of raping her after offering intoxicant- laced tea at Hansi in Hisar. Devender’s wife has also been booked for criminal conspiracy in commission of the crime. The victim alleged that she enjoyed sisterly relations with Devender’s wife. The victim alleged that the constable’s wife yesterday invited her for tea in Uttam Nagar of Hansi , where she was offered tea laced with intoxicants. She alleged the accused raped her after she lost consciousness. She claimed when she told the couple that she would lodge a complaint with the police, the accused allegedly threatened to kill her husband and son. She narrated the incident to her husband, who took her to the police station for lodging an FIR against the accused. The victim was taken to the General Hospital, Hansi, late last night for her medical examination.
