Discussions have also been held regarding the district and block executive. Now information has been given to keep the executive small. Congress’s focus will now be on giving space to small and working people and not big ones.

State Congress President Jeetu Patwari held a joint meeting with the district presidents, district in-charges-co-in-charges, block presidents and sub-block presidents of Hoshangabad division at the state Congress headquarters, after which district-wise meetings were held to discuss the strengthening of the organization. Patwari, while seeking opinion from the district presidents of Hoshangabad division, asked what efforts are being made to strengthen the party at the organizational level and to add more and more workers. He said that the way the oppressive attitude of the BJP government is coming to the fore in the state, every section of the state is disappointed with it. The graph of rape incidents with women and girls is increasing day by day.

Patwari said that we are all disappointed because we did not win in the last Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections, but still we do not need to be disappointed. We will play the role of opposition with full strength and effectively. The BJP government is behaving like the British with every section of the people of the state, being in power for 20 years, the spirits of the BJP are high, criminal activities are increasing. To protest against the increasing atrocities, misdeeds, Congress should come out on the streets at the district and block level and strongly oppose this attitude of the government at the district and block level.
