Untimely and sad demise of Sh.V.N Singh has shocked the well wishers but has also caused irreparable loss to the city. The Chandigarh Administration acknowledges the great contribution of Sh.V.N Singh earlier as the Director Government Museum and Art Gallery and post retirement as the Nodal officer, Le Corbusier Centre Sector 19. Mr.Singh has immensely contributed towards the memorabilia and souvenir of Chandigarh through Le Corbusier Centre. He gave exemplary vision and reorientation of Le Corbusier through his contribution towards art work.
Adviser to the Administrator, UT Chandigarh Mr. Pradip Mehra is deeply shocked with the passing away of Sh.V.N Singh at the crucial period when his immense contribution resulted in acclaim all over the globe for the Le Corbusier Centre.
Sh.Ram Niwas, the Home Secretary, Chandigarh Administration has also expressed his deep shock at the sudden demise of Sh.V.N Singh at the stage when Sh.Singh has immensely contributed towards revitalising the functioning of le Corbusier Centre.
