The Hindi box office saw a clear post-weekend slowdown on Monday, even as blockbuster Border 2 continued its march toward the ₹300 crore milestone. Meanwhile, Mardaani 3, starring Rani Mukerji, witnessed a sharp drop in collections on its fourth day.
Smaller releases like Mayasabha struggled to hold ground amid competition from big-ticket films.
🎥 Mardaani 3 Box Office Collection Day 4
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Mardaani 3 earned ₹2.15 crore on Monday, its fourth day in theaters.
Sunday collection: ₹7.25 crore
Total collection so far: ₹19.65 crore
As expected, collections dipped after the weekend, but the decline for Mardaani 3 was steeper than average. Trade analysts will closely monitor weekday performance to assess the film’s long-term prospects.
💥 Border 2 Box Office Collection Day 11
Action-drama Border 2, starring Sunny Deol, earned ₹5.75 crore on Monday, its 11th day at the box office.
Sunday collection: ₹22.5 crore
Total collection: ₹281 crore
While the film saw a significant weekday drop, its cumulative earnings remain impressive. With collections already nearing ₹300 crore, Border 2 is expected to enter the prestigious ₹300 crore club soon.
Interestingly, the film’s makers claimed on Monday that the movie had already crossed the ₹300 crore mark at the Indian box office, though official trade figures are still catching up.
📉 Mayasabha Continues to Struggle
Javed Jaffrey–starrer Mayasabha continues to underperform. The film collected just ₹6 lakh on Day 4, a notable decline from ₹20 lakh on Sunday.
Total collection: ₹65 lakh
Directed by Tumbbad fame Rahi Anil Barve, the film has failed to gain momentum amid stiff competition from major releases.
📊 Box Office Outlook
With Border 2 dominating screens and nearing a historic milestone, the coming days will be crucial for Mardaani 3 to stabilize its weekday performance. Smaller films like Mayasabha may continue to struggle unless strong word-of-mouth support emerges.
