Commenting on the Government’s decision to allow upto 51% FDI in multi-brand retail, Mr. B. Thiagarajan, President, Airconditioning & Refrigeration Products Group, Blue Star Limited, said “We welcome the development and look forward to investment flowing into creation of integrated cold chain infrastructure. Blue Star is perhaps the largest player in the field offering full fledged service from system design to after sales service. We also manufacture a wide range of refrigeration products for variety of applications viz. seed storage, ripening, pack houses, perishable cargo centres, modular cold rooms and walk-in coolers. We expect our commercial refrigeration and cold chain business to grow significantly.”
