New Delhi, November 15, 2025 — Banks across India remained operational on the third Saturday of November, following Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines. Customers were able to carry out routine banking transactions, including cash withdrawals, deposits, cheque processing, and other essential services.
Historically, some banks observed closures on third Saturdays depending on state rules, but this November, all scheduled banks, including public, private, and cooperative institutions, stayed open. The move ensures smooth financial operations, reduces inconvenience for individuals and businesses, and aligns with RBI directives promoting nationwide banking continuity. Customers can access services without disruption even on weekend dates.
