Mumbai : Apple launched the iPhone 16 series series in its Glotime event on September 9, under which iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max have been launched. Apart from these, Apple Watch Series 10 and AirPods have also been introduced. With the launch of iPhone 16, like every year, this year too Apple has discontinued the old iPhone model. - New Launches: Apple introduced the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max at the Glotime event on September 9. Alongside these, the Apple Watch Series 10 and new AirPods were also launched.
- Discontinued Models:
- iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, which were launched just last year, have been discontinued.
- iPhone 13, a popular model from 2021, has also been discontinued.
- Apple Watch Series 9, also launched last year, is no longer available.
- Still Available:
- The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are still available for purchase, with prices starting at ₹69,990 and ₹79,990 respectively. These models are available in Black, Blue, Pink, and Yellow colors.
- The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus remain available in India, starting at ₹59,990 and ₹69,990 respectively. They come in several colors, including Blue, Midnight, Purple, Product (Red), Starlight, and Yellow, with storage options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
This discontinuation is typical of Apple’s strategy to streamline their product line and focus on promoting their latest technology.
