In the meeting held in Bhopal, State Congress President and former Chief Minister Kamal Nath directed all the Congressmen to gear up for the Hath Se Hath Jodo campaign starting in the month of January and held a district level meeting between 20 to 24 December for the success of the campaign. Instructions have been given to the city and district presidents for Now soon preliminary meetings will be held in the districts to plan the said campaign between 26 to 29 December. In the meeting, district in-charge co-in-charge MLAs of Vidhansabha 2018 and candidates of Lok Sabha 2019, district presidents of the Morcha organization, presidents of departments/cells will be called.
What is join hands campaign
The Hath se Hath Jodo campaign organized under the Bharat Jodo Abhiyan will mainly expand the Bharat Jodo Yatra through mass dialogue programme. In the new year, starting from January 26, the join hands campaign will continue for two months. The aforesaid campaign will be organized in the form of padayatra in all the gram panchayats and polling stations of the country.
The campaign was divided into three levels
The All India Congress Committee has divided the campaign into three levels to make it successful. In the first level, a two-month padyatra covering every village and polling booth at the village and block level. Along with holding meetings in all the villages, door to door public relations will be done and Congress will distribute chart sheets against the Modi government along with Rahul Gandhi’s letter. Emotional videos of Bharat Jodo Yatra will be shown in every village by pasting stickers of Bharat Jodo Yatra in every village.
Apart from forming WhatsApp groups, NSUI/Youth Congress will organize bike rallies in every block. District Level Congress Karyakarta Mela A conference of Congress leaders, workers and influencers at every district headquarters, PCC president, CLP leaders and senior state leaders will participate and address.
At the third and last level, this campaign will culminate in the Mahasangam of the workers in the form of a grand rally of the Congress. The Congress President and former Presidents as well as national level leaders will address the rally. Women’s march will be taken out in every state capital under the leadership of Priyanka Gandhi.
