In Chhattisgarh, for a long time, leaders associated with the Aam Aadmi Party were claiming tickets to contest the Lok Sabha elections, but after this decision of the party, there is huge resentment among the workers. However, people associated with the party say that even though we are not contesting the Lok Sabha elections, we will support the candidates of the India Alliance.
AAP’s performance in the state during the assembly elections was very poor. After the elections, Chhattisgarh AAP President Komal Hupendi resigned from the party along with six key officials on January 16. Even though more than two months have passed since his resignation, the new president of the party has not been appointed.
Aam Aadmi Party feels that by protesting in Delhi as well as in the entire country, Aam Aadmi Party can succeed in making Arvind Kejriwal a national-level leader and making him equally popular and poor as Prime Minister Modi, which will benefit the party along with Arvind Kejriwal.
