PM Modi to Engage Assam, Puducherry Voters via NaMo App Ahead of Key Elections

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to directly engage with citizens and grassroots party workers in Assam and Puducherry through a large-scale virtual outreach initiative titled ‘Mera Booth Sabse Majboot Samvad’, hosted on the NaMo App.

The digital interaction is scheduled for Monday and is being positioned as a key campaign effort to strengthen voter connect and mobilize party workers ahead of upcoming assembly elections.


Event Schedule and Format

According to official details, the Prime Minister’s virtual engagement will take place in two phases:

  • 1:00 PM: Address to participants from Assam, focusing on election-related issues, governance, and development
  • 5:30 PM: Interaction with party workers and citizens in Puducherry, highlighting achievements and future plans

The sessions will be conducted entirely online, allowing real-time interaction between the Prime Minister and participants across regions, showcasing the growing role of digital platforms in political communication.


Focus on Governance and Development

In recent remarks shared on X, Modi emphasized the developmental progress achieved in Assam over the past decade, citing improvements across infrastructure, connectivity, and public welfare sectors.

He reiterated confidence that voters would continue to support the NDA’s “double-engine government” model, which refers to alignment between central and state administrations to accelerate development.

For Puducherry, the Prime Minister highlighted that the NDA government has worked to fulfill the aspirations of the Union Territory over the last five years, pointing to infrastructure expansion and economic initiatives.
