Vijay Sethupathi Confirms Cameo

In a surprise announcement, actor Vijay Sethupathi revealed he will appear in a cameo role. Sethupathi shared that he accepted the special appearance out of deep respect for Rajinikanth, making the cameo one of the film’s most talked-about elements.

Massive Star Ensemble

Director Nelson Dilipkumar is expanding the scope of the sequel significantly. Along with Rajinikanth reprising his role as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian, the film features a powerhouse cast including:

  • Shiva Rajkumar

  • Mohanlal

  • Vidya Balan

  • Mithun Chakraborty

  • Nandamuri Balakrishna

This lineup positions Jailer 2 as one of the biggest pan-Indian star collaborations in recent years.

Music by Anirudh Ravichander

Poised to Be 2026’s Biggest Indian Release

With buzz building steadily and production on a large scale, Jailer 2 is already being hailed as one of the largest Indian films of 2026. The film aims to replicate—and possibly surpass—the global success of its predecessor Jailer (2023).
