Rare Astrological Yog on Vijayadashami After 50 Years

On Thursday, Vijayadashami 2025, a rare combination of Ravi, Sukarma, and Dhriti Yog is forming after 50 years. According to Astrologer Shivsharan Parashar, devotees who worship Neelkanth Mahadev during this auspicious period may witness new doors of happiness, prosperity, and success. The previous such combination occurred in 1975.

The Dashami Tithi of Shukla Paksha begins at 7:01 PM on Wednesday and lasts until 7:10 PM on Thursday. Ravi Yoga helps destroy inauspiciousness and brings success; Sukarma Yoga resolves problems and increases fortune; Dhriti Yoga provides stability and patience. Auspicious Rituals: Weapons Worship and Vehicle Purchase

Astrologer Pandit Ajay Kaushik  explained that Vijayadashami falls on Thursday this year. Rituals include Durga Puja, Aparajita Puja, Vijay Praman, Shastra Puja, Navratri Parana, Durga Visarjan, and Ravana Dahan.

  • Weapons Worship Timing: 11:54 AM – 1:58 PM

  • Vehicle Purchase Timing: 3:42 PM – 5:11 PM

Kshatriyas worship weapons, Brahmins honor Saraswati, and Vaishyas worship the ledger (account book), according to tradition.


Ramlila 2025: 90-Foot Meghnad Effigy Burns

At Bijlighar Ramlila Ground, the 90-foot Meghnad effigy was set ablaze, preceded by a spectacular fireworks display. The ground resonated with chants praising Shri Ram.

The enactment showcased Ram and Ravana’s armies clashing, with chariots of Shri Ram and Lakshman confronting Meghnad’s chariot in a dynamic, circling battle around the field.


Today: Epic Battle Between Ram and Ravana

Media in-charge Rahul Gautam stated that the grand finale of Ramlila, the battle between Ram and Ravana, will begin at 7 PM Thursday, followed by a breathtaking fireworks display featuring a contest between Ajay from Mathura and Mohan from Aligarh.
