PM Modi Returns from US Visit: Key Takeaways from Quad and UN Future Summits

Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to India after ending his three-day US visit. He arrived at Delhi airport by plane on Tuesday night. Earlier, the Prime Minister participated in the summit of the leaders of the Quad (Quadrilateral Security Dialogue) countries in Wilmington on Saturday. He addressed a huge event of thousands of members of the Indian-American community in Long Island on Sunday. After this, he addressed the United Nations Future Summit on Monday. He also held bilateral discussions with world leaders on these three days. His visit has been described as historic by his government colleagues in the country as well as veteran leaders of his own party.

PM Modi was in New York as part of the second phase of the three-day US visit. There he addressed the United Nations Future Summit held against the backdrop of global conflicts.

PM Modi met To Lam. He wrote on ‘X, “Met Vietnam President To Lam. We discussed the full dimension of India-Vietnam friendship. We look forward to increasing cooperation in connectivity, trade, culture and other areas. The two leaders also discussed ways to enhance friendship between the two countries.

Earlier, PM Modi met Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and expressed deep concern over the humanitarian situation in Gaza and reaffirmed India’s support for the early restoration of peace and stability in the region. ( PLC & GT )
