This year, however, the timetable update has been postponed, affecting thousands of passengers and their travel plans. The Railway Board has communicated to all railway zones that the current timetable will remain effective until December 31, 2024.

Every year, Indian Railways releases a new timetable on July 1. This year, however, the Railway Board has decided against this annual update.
